Thank you!

There were several people who directly or indirectly helped with Whispers of a Distant Storm. We thank them here 💙

Goblin King

Trevor was our Artist Liaison from the Burning Man Project. Artist Liaisons review applications, virtually meet with creators, and ensure they have the support needed to bring art to the playa.

Thank you for all of your work and support, Trevor!

(Xeli was excited to meet Goblin King in real life at the ARTery!)

The Art Support Services (ASS) staff at the ARTery helped us check in, add our name to the map, took us to our floofie on playa, and facilitated a brunch meet and greet so we could meet other artists. We are sure there were a lot of additional tasks behind the scenes with placement etc that we were unaware of.

Thank you for your support, ASS!

Translators

We wanted to incorporate Radical Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (RIDE) to Whispers of a Distant Storm, so we designed the center structure to include Spanish and French translations of the scientific description. Gloria translated the scientific description to Spanish and Typhanie translated the scientific description to French.

Thank you, Gloria and Typhanie for helping make our installation more accessible to a broader demographic!

The Thought Emporium

The online creator called thethoughtemporium released a video years ago titled "Natural Radio From Lightning Sounds INCREDIBLE- VLF Radio". This video introduced Paul to VLF radio, and was the original inspiration for him to build one.
