Instead of building the entire shade structure we attached all of four lightning bolts together and installed speakers at the top of each to let people listen to pre-recorded VLF radio. Had we tried to use live radio the sferics would have been drowned out by the buzz of the power grid.

We made some fresh panels after fixing the typo in the originals and set up an English and Spanish version with headphones to let people hear the radio over the rest of the festival.
